Either wipe it, or take it back to the shop

Lol. "Hacking". Download the trial version of Kaspersky or another good Anti-virus, disconnect your PC from the internet in-case it's a "RAT", then run your anti-virus, let it scan your PC, if there's anything on your PC, it will find it.
If there's nothing, it's either a FUD, or your PC is f'ing up, so wipe it clean.

Judging by the symptoms you're describing, I'm going to assume that you've been infected by a rat. You can either download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] or you can have a quick look manually in
Then check all the directories for any executables (.exe) and if you manage to find one, delete it.

Sounds like either a rat, or a hardcore vbs troll. Press rShift, lCtrl, and esc at the same time. Go to processes; try to find anything ending in .vbs; end whatever it is. If this doesn't fix, get malwarebytes.

sorry just because a virus you do not need to buy a new pc. if you really wanted to make sure it is gone maybe a new hdd but not a new computer.

Hi.
Sounds like you have a malware issue.
If you have another clean machine download the Malwarebytes.exe to a memory stick and disconnect the infected one from the internet.
Transfer MBAM to the infected computer and run it.

If this doesn't fix, get malwarebytes.ending a malware process does not stop it from restarting also most malware is injected into system dependent process's like CSRSS explorer svchost or other system required or AV process's this is intended to not only avoid detection but also so the victim cannot end the process's with out restarting the system.
OP's Best bet is to either install Avast and run a Boot time Scan or give TRK a go.
its easier to detect malware on a OS if the OS is not in use or loaded ;).
