For the second thing, having your console's DVD drive on the wrong firmware, using your modded console for long periods of time, and being reported for console modifications all factor in to how long until your console is banned. If you get no reports, barely use it, and have the correct LT+3.0 or LT+2.0 FW, your chances of getting banned are slim to none.

I used to hotswap all the time, experimenting daily, and what I found out was you can only run .ISOs of games you already have or else it will give you an error; He didn't specify what he wanted to do.

You need to either hot swap or flash your console.
And you can get banned for any mods.

Can you use and ISO disc file without a flashed xbox? Yes as long as it is on a disc and you have the original retail copy, you can hotswap. This option is only for mods though! If you're not looking for mods and just looking for free games this option is not the one for you.

Can you get banned for using ISO mods on Xbox Live? All forms of modding comes with a risk of a ban. Depending on what game it is, there may be higher risks! I used to use mods on GTA IV a lot and i didnt ever get banned, so as i said it depends on the game, and sometimes the people you are playing with!
