So my friend has the nuketown zombies on his hard drive and we played it and I really like it. We've both have been wanting it, and he got it. But I don't, my question is. Can I get a USB and copy the map to the USB and take it home, plug it into my box, will I be able to play on it? We're trying not to do the transfer license, if not. Is there any way we can get it on my Xbox to?

Hmm I think that will work if I want to go on the maps I just sign in to my mates account go on to black ops and sign back into mine and I can go on them, but you have to re download it which takes a while

You cannot transfer them with a USB because they are signed to each console, I think (don't hold me on it though, not 100% sure )

It says that it's only tied to the first console that it was downloaded on and the Gamertag, meaning that if he had bought it on your xbox, you would have it and he'd have it on his Gamertag only wherever he goes.

You won't be able to do it since it's tied to his xbox and gamertag.

Putting it on the USB won't really be doing anything. You would have to sign into his account to use the map. The only way for you to use the map on your account is to license transfer the map to your Xbox.
