Hello TTG i found a new way to find your Console ID from NGU

It only works for some people

Download: mediafire.com/?iwxnp9lw7k5bnp7
once u open up charles press on register and copy and paste the following information (this is serial number):

Name..:Juan A. Rodriguez
Serial:da0e7561b10d974216

only works with the 1 i provided.

Virus total scan:
virustotal.com/file/2633...is/1359211423/

Now once U have it running it should already have the window's proxy running and the recorder running - (note if u get some firewall prompts just press allow) - make sure u leave it running until u finish doing the stuff needed on the PS3.

now all you have to do is get ur PC's IP address

hare is how:

open your start menu on the bottom left Conner/windows button

type in "run" without the quotation marks

either press on the cmd that show's up in the search list or hit enter on it

now in run you are going to type in "cmd" - without the quotation marks

now a black box should open up.

and in this black box we are going to type in: ipconfig : and hit enter

now were it say "IPv4 Address............:" you are going to copy that number some were or just write it down. for example mine looks like this 192.168.0.115

now we are going to go to our PS3

we turn it on as usual

we are going to go 2 scroll all the way 2 the left until we hit "Settings"

then scroll all the way down until we hit Network Settings

we are going to press on "Network Settings"

then press on "Internet connection settings"

we are then going to leave our settings as they are if you did custom you go down to custom and press the right button the d-pad then
and so on with the rest of the settings

when we get to the Proxy Server

we are going to use it. so press down once on D-pad then right on D-Pad

and in address we type in that number we got from IPv4 Address on our PC

and in port you are going to type in 8888

then press on d-pad 2 the right all the way 2 the end.

once at end press X the circle

and sign in

once signed in go to store

and buy/download something for free

like an avatar or just download something you already have from your downloads history.

once downloaded / activated exit the store go back to ur network settings and scroll all the way through until u get proxy settings

this time we are going to select the option do not use and scroll 2 then end after that and press X then circle and sign back in.

Now go back 2 Ur PC and you should see some folders on the left column

in the column you are going to look for something like this

a folder with a name like this

then click on the little arrow next 2 it

then click on the little arrow next to "event/" - folder

now we should get some files/file called "batch" with a J next 2 them

we are going to click on 1 of those batch files and then click on request tab next 2 Overview on the right side of the column

copy that and keep it some were safe if u ever want 2 use it on another console make sure u put it on a txt file

and put 32 0's after the last number on it.

English Tutorial: Retrieving your Console ID on OFW with sniffer

Download and install wireshark and winPcap (included with the wireshark installer)
Download and install the .net runtimes
Download and install PS3 ProxyServer
Open a command prompt (start menu - all programs - accessories - command prompt) and enter command "ipconfig". Write down the IPv4 address (should look like 192.168.0.10 or something similar)
Open PS3 ProxyServer and copy the IPv4 address you wrote down into the IP Address field and check of PS3 mode, leave the other options alone. Hit the big start button. Keep you IPv4 number handy, you'll need it again. Leave this program running.
Open Wireshark. On the left side there is an option to start capture. Left click with your mouse to select the appropriate network adapter listed below the start command. If you are not sure about which adapter to use, select them all using ctrl + left mouse click. Hit the start button once you've highlighted the appropriate adapters. Leave this program running.
Boot up your PS3 and navigate to Settings - Network Settings - Internet Connection Settings. on the first page select custom, on the second select whether you are connected wirelessly or wired. Skip all other options by hitting right on your controller until you get to the Proxy Server page, then select use for that option.
Input the IPv4 address you wrote down earlier into the top field. Make sure that the port number on this page matches the port number on PS3 ProxyServer (should both say 8080).
Skip to the last page on the configuration and hit x.
Test connection when prompted by hitting x again. As long as the top 3 fields say succeeded you can carry on to the next step. if not, review your settings in this step and steps 5 and 6 and retry.
Sign into the playstation network and login to the psn store.
Go back to your pc and check Wireshark. There should be a whole bunch of information displayed on the screen, don't worry you don't need to know what it means. Press [ctrl]+ e to stop capturing, then press [ctrl]+f to bring up your search dialogue.
Under "find" check of "string" and under "Search In" check off "Packet bytes". Enter 0000000100 as your search criteria and hit enter. If the necessary packet was found, in the bottom frame it should show the number highlighted on the right side (plaintext view) to ensure you have the right packet, right before the highlighted text it should say "devideID":" and then the numbers you searched for.
Take all the numbers and letters starting with your highlighted numbers and copy everything down until you find the next quotation mark in the plaintext. You should have a total of 32 digits written down. Should look something like 000000010084 followed by a bunch of letters and numbers.

Start your PS3 , Open MultiMan and go to SystemInformation and than you can see your Console ID

Why would you need someone to do backup for you? Anyways, pm me your ID, region, & patches. Also if you really found a way, don't release it & send me a tut.

Why wouldn't you want him to release it? That kinda sounds selfish..

I wanna test it. Then I'd release it to people who want backups.
