I don't know how many times I'll have to explain this to people.

After death your brain is also dead. Because your brain is responsible for regulating every single thing you experience, without it, you cannot experience anything.

Have you ever looked into Near Death Experiences - Especially ones where people have been flat lined for over 2 days? I think you'll find some interesting information.

There are just some things that science cannot explain, in fact (as strange as it is) I hate conventional science, to me conventional science only explains so much.

Please be more open minded, even if an idea might be somewhat strange

No death cannot be like this. Astral Projection isn't real to begin with. It's a farce.

How is astral projection farce?

They are quite real, so is an OBE. Have you ever astrally projected, or had an OBE?

Please explain yourself.

If thinking about this kind of stuff makes one morbid then I must be the **** grim reaper.

This is a big topic with a lot of repercussions that can affect how a person views life, discussing it is one of the most important things we can do to try and understand it in a philosophical way, which is yet to be accomplished.

Trying to censor this discussion simply because you do not care is impeding the progress of thought and understanding by the viewers.

You don't care, other people do.
If you don't like that, then don't click on the topic.

Astral projection is a farce because there is no such thing as the "astral plane." You may perceive there to be, but that is only because your brain creates it for you, and only you. I have had an OBE due to sleep paralysis as a result of long term sleep deprivation, but I don't go around claiming that it some supernatural occurrence that science cannot explain, it is literally your brain creating a scene for you, as is every other hallucination that people, out of fear, interpret as otherworldly. In response to your other comment, I am very open minded to everything that is sensible. I don't know why you would even make the distinction between "conventional science" and some other sort of fictional pseudo science, as if real science(there is only one kind) is not beautiful enough for you. I don't understand why people give science this bad rap as though it's all crunching numbers and measuring distances, it's a wonderful thing that attempts to explain the universe that we inhabit in a logical(from the perspective of humans) way.

In terms of a near death experience, a near death experience is just that, it is an experience. You do not die, your brain may behave strangely, but when people say stuff like "I saw God" or "I saw a white light" that is merely their brain's coping mechanism. I subscribe to all that is provable and until someone shows me proof of life after death, I will go on believing in science.

Why even think about death? Nobody knows how life is after death. I believe it is just black. You don't have dreams or anything, you don't remember anything. Although it is weird to think of. Live life like you want to, it's too short to be doing things you don't want to. Don't waste your time.

I would love to think there is some perpetual existence after death but alas, I'm unable to comprehend the concept.

I guess no-one knows until death meets you at your doorstep. It can go one of two ways: dying and everything shuts off and that's it, or there is some sort of spiritual paradise.
