what can you do and what can't you do with this update with an offline jtag?

Nothin has really changed so everything you did for tu7 still works and there now coming out with tu8 engine text mod menus kinda like tu6 but cant be infectable

Probably they wouldn't work. I would just look for an engine text menu or something because they don't require rte.

New because when you have a new TU there has to be a new default_mp.xex and your dlls and patches have to support that xex so yes you have to get new dlls and patches

Tu8 wasn't a hotfix. A hotfix is like a playlist update. A title update is one that kicks you off of live until you download it. I know that it was a very small one, but still, you don't wanna tell new modders the wrong thing. Only leads to hate.

Simple. Everything you could do in tu6 or any tu is still possible.
