Hey guys so I'd like to do some customizing to my xbox 360 slim but don't have a good soldering iron to be able to do good soldering so I was wondering if these installs required soldering or not.

I believe they make a glue like substance that is close to an apoxy that might work but otherwise yes it does require soldering.

Well where do I buy that glue and is it the same as soldering? As in if I tried to RGH a console with it would it work? Also where would I plug the fan or case into?

I have no clue where probably ebay. (where I got mine, I forget the name) As for if it would work for RGHing a console, IDK its worked for me modding controllers. But its not always as reliable as solder.
