I use Hauppauge HD PVR 2. Isn't that bad but the editor is horrible for Hauppauge.I don't know about Elgato

I hear a lot of good things about Elgato, but at the time I didn't have HDMI, so I got a Hauppauge, and the quality is fantastic.

By the way, if anyone tries to talk you into getting a BlackMagic Intensity shuttle, DON'T LISTEN. They're absolutely horrid, crashes my computer constantly, horrible codecs, insane filesizes, and the list goes on.
