If you have the original discs that they came with, you can just pop it in the other laptop and install that way. Most software like word, excel, and things like that come with up to 5 licences so that should work just fine.

make a system image and redeploy it on a different computer the catch is it must be two identical computers with the same type of hardware or you can make a Virtual image and run it in a vm with a little work. if you are trying to get programs for free off the laptop this is not the way to go about it.

you can download most M$ products directly from microsoft.com but you will need to provide a key to activate after install ;) from either a key from a previous install or from purchasing a new key. You wont be able to download the installed files from program files and install them onto a different computer if you dont have either the Disc/iso/install files. You have to redownload the program and do a new install and activation on the second system.
