I do, every once in a while. But nobody is going to sit in a house for hours in complete silence waiting for something to happen. Some of my friends have been around when there is a knock, or a low bang, but they dismiss it as the house settling. But I try to have them over as much as possible, but it is hard when we have work, and important things to attend to.

Have you ever tryed to look if there is any history on the house you live at maybe ur neighbors might no something about it ?

And like I said, I only lived in this house for a few years, 5 years to be exact. But this spirit has been with me since I was about 4. I lived in 3 houses ever since, and it has been with me every house I've lived in.

The only reason i said my previous post is because about 4 years ago my dad and i moved into a house that was owned by a 35 year old woman and a 5 year old girl, the woman murdered the little girl in the house 6 months before we moved into the house, because i was in school i was at home 4 hours before my dad got home from work, i started hearing screaching on a white board (it was on the fridge like a calender) so i walked into the kitchen to see what the noise was and right before my eyes there was letters appearing on the board (scratch marks)... anyway later on that week i told my dad, about 20 minutes after i told him we heard a huge thump in the bathroom, the door had been ripped from its hinges, my dad called a spiritualist and she did all of her "are you currently in this room" bs and just after she asked the first question my dad and i both felt like we had a burning sensation in our chests, i faced him and looked at him and we were bleeding in the exact same place (in the middle of our chests, between our nipples) i wasnt a little blood, dripping blood. after a few weeks we had no more trouble from the spirit but from that one experience alone my dad sold the house and now we have been living here for years and no signs of a spirit

I would have been scared shitless.. holy crap dood wtf?!?!?! sorry im just speachless....

If you don't like it (and it would be a living nightmare for me) why don't you try getting someone to help / get rid of it?

I know this may sound scary but the best thing to do is just confront the ghost/figure because if they have been bothering you for that much and that long it must be something important and it doesn't seem like it wants to hurt you in any way. Keep us updated and tell me was what you decide to do .

I sort of have the same thing. I will be in my room, like I am now, and my door will gently close like someone pulled it shut as they walked out. Also at the front door to my house the door knob will shake and turn repeatedly (I keep it locked at all times so the door doesn't open). I will be standing there watching it. Once it stops, I'll walk away from it and it will start again. Also I'll see this figure standing in the corner of my eyes. It looks about 6 foot tall but with a really white face, dark eyes, and dark lips. This started when my great aunt passed away (right after this past Christmas). I think this might be her but I don't really believe in ghosts and such. As this goes on my family also experiences it too. This is very scary to me so at least it is just not my family and I that are experiencing it.

The "Spirit" has been with you since you were 4. I think I saw that movie... What was it called? Ahhh!!! Paranormal Activity 1,2,3 and 4.

I would, but you always hear of those stories about how someone tries to get rid of a spirit and it then becomes harmful. Throws objects, hurts people, etc. And although it does scare me, as long as it doesn't threaten me, I wont do anything I don't have to.

Lol yeah, except I don't think its a demon. I, nor has anyone else in my house have become possessed. There is no demonic cult that I end up having to face, to find out that it was my grandmother who made a deal with the devil. And since I am a male, I would have been killed/gone missing when I was an infant. But it's nice to know that you see this to be funny.
