They're planning on releasing rares with 'other' methods.

I just read the forum and I'm really excited. Its just a little ridiculous how they want 500,000 votes to bring it back and make it free. I personally would love to have RS '07, but I wouldn't pay to play it like once or twice a week.

None the less if you aren't a member you cannot vote in this poll. Thats also a downside with probably only around less than 10k people who hae membership.

Jagex have thought, Lets bring the ' old ' players back to buy some membership so they can vote for there 07scape.
There charging people to vote really plus its sad because all the people who quit are going to vote but will have to renew there membership!
I highly doubt were going to get 750K votes, I dont mind paying $5 a month but if they screw us over again im going to be mad!

It's not $5 a month it's $7.95 plus $15 for 2007scape when it comes out, they are going to release it once with only one update and no moderators so it's going to be complete madness, no regulations price fixing is going to be terrible. But what I like is the fact that I can level up so fast then.

I think we will get over 500k votes, Maybe not 750K but all the big channels are alrady advertising it.
Ive been though the forums and people are renewing there membership.
If it only gets 50K votes im not going to be playing!

A free version won't be avaliable unless there is I forget how many number of votes at least 250k. If you play and want someone to level with just tell me I'm always open.

We wont reach 750k Jagex just wants more money. we will only most likely reach 50k then its 15$ a month to play on the servers and no updates its pretty much just a private server. Theres going to be so many bugs and stuff.
