Im disappointed in the Halo 4 campaign. It was good in all but It was way to short in my opinion. The Multiplayer and such is good but I really hate how short the campaign is.

If the campaign had been any longer I would have killed myself. It was the worst halo campaign to date, and they ruined it by making Master Chief and Cortana of some sort of ridiculous relationship that wasn't present in previous installations.

I always saw the relationship (except in Halo 1.) She always said lines that suggested that she liked him like that, but he was always cold. In risked his life for her in Halo 3 and he opened up more when she started dying in Halo 4. It was only a mater of time really. I feel it was one of the best campaigns I have ever played. I felt it had nice length too. I'm just not that big of a fan of the Promethians. All in all it was great and pretty depressing. The feelings at the end with Cortana and Chief were great. They couldn't have been any more real feeling. Great job to 343.

I agree on all levels but I still think they could of taken it 2 more chapters or whatever plus they barely brought up the Promethian King and I don't understand what the librarian did to Master chief (that's just me not understanding) but I love the plot and the promenthians but I just think it could of lasted longer.

I agree with this completely, and in all honesty at the end of Halo 4, I cried. They did a good job with the way they chose to end it and build relationships with enemy's and cortana.

Me and my friends had a running joke through the entire campaign.

Before every mission one of us would ask:

"I wonder what kind of buttons we have to push on this one."

It stuck after we started saying it since every mission is about getting to a button to push another button.

I thought the campaign was great, even when I played it over again.

I think 343 did a great job.

Honestly, I'm not even much of a Halo fan, but I loved the fourth one. The campaign to me was perfect length, the emotions it gave off was amazing. I too cried a little at the end. Anyone could have seen the chemistry between Cortona and Chief from previous Halos, so I honestly have no idea how you could have been blind to that.

To me, Halo 4 campaign was just about the right length. The relationship between Cortana and Master Chief was nice to see more of (since I'm sure we've all known ever since like Halo 2). My real issue with the campaign was the repetition of the missions. Pretty much all of it was finding buttons to more buttons, then holding out a point for evac. The backstory with the Prometheans was really cool, but I feel they didn't really flesh it out enough and make it more involving for the player. I wanted to hear more history and such about the Halo universe but instead was met by lots of "KR-86 3 promethean knights tangos over here" followed by marines screaming during the actual gameplay parts. I have to tip my hat to 343 for taking a chance with Halo 4 and changing the story for the new trilogy, but for me personally it wasn't enough. Halo 2 still remains my favorite Halo campaign. With the exception of Gears of War, I've kinda given up on shooter game campaigns. All in all, Halo 4 could have been a lot more story driven, and between the smooth controls and beautiful graphics, that would have been an incredible campaign. Unfortunately, the only memorable moment for me was plowing into things in 4 player campaign when you flew the ships at the end on legendary.
