i was just thinking and i fort why have they called it Xbox720 why not something like Xbox620 ?

Most likely because 360 + 360 = 720. And I'm pretty sure that Microsoft won't call it a 720. I'm sure that 720 came from Xbox fans a few years ago.

I heard it'll be called something like 'Infinity' but, we don't know until it's been officially announced, obviously.

I highly doubt its going to be called the Durango. Thats the Dev Kit that they used to work on it and they said it was either going to be the x8 or the Xbox Infinity.

No one knows the official name or what their choice is.
720 was thought of years ago though.
Xbox 1 - Xbox 360 is 360 degrees.
Xbox 360 to next Xbox could be another 360 degrees so, Xbox 720.

Same concept when they thought a portable Xbox would be released, the Xbox "180".
