Real soccer and Fifa are 2 complete different things. In Fifa you have to build your team around the fact of trying to get 100 chemistry. In soccer, the clubs have been playing with each other therefore knowing how each other plays. The manager also knows this and adjusts it to accommodate it. In My opinion the 4-2-3-1 is quite deadly, but that's just my preference when managers choose to do that. If your not quite certain on what formation a team is using check their facebook page as they usually show a roster and formation.
