Well im a prot pally, but basically you just need some good gear and a good weapon. Do alot of dungeons ull get cool shit. Also use buffs that increase attack power. Lol idk much sorry but i suggest dual spec protection. A prot paladin is basically indestructible. It would take someone a very long time if they tried to kill me.

You could just make a holy pally ! They are known as holy warriors !

The single target rotation for Retribution Paladins follows a priority system.

Keep up Inquisition (ideally with 3 Holy Power).
Cast Templar's Verdict (when you have 5 Holy Power).
Cast Hammer of Wrath on cooldown
It is only available when the target is below 20% health or when Avenging Wrath is active.
Cast Exorcism on cooldown (it generates Holy Power).
Cast Crusader Strike on cooldown (it generates Holy Power).
Cast Judgment on cooldown (it generates Holy Power).
Cast Templar's Verdict (when you have 3 Holy Power).

The multiple target (AoE) rotation is based on the same priority system as the single target one. As the number of targets you are facing increases, certain changes occur, as follows:

Against 2 targets, replace Templar's Verdict with Divine Storm.
Against 4 targets, replace Crusader Strike with Hammer of the Righteous.
Against 8 targets, replace Seal of Truth with Seal of Righteousness.

Too be good at DPS as ret Is too get good gear (depending on what you want Raiding/PvP) And then learn a rotation Witch I have seen someone post here that is pretty good and also practice different rotations Hope i Helped, ~Kik
