I know a lot of people don't use them anymore, but for anyone that needs it..
First of all you're going to disable resample and untick 'Maintain Aspect Ratio'
These settings can be found by right clicking the clip and going to 'Properties'

Next you're going to remove the black bars, simply click the small white box on your clip and drag the outline to cut it off

Rendering the file, you're going to make the file format: 'Windows Media Video V11'
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Click custom to go into more detail of the file:
Audio Tab
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Video Tab
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Project Tab
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Then just render you're clip and here is you're result.

nice clip but to take the lines away everytime you turn you need to deinterlace the clip in virtualdub
