Do you think in the next 200 years or so they will be able to teleport humans short distances, and then over the years expand the distance? tellme what you think

In relation to just teleportation of objects and, if you've seen The Fly, chimps, we sort of can.

But, it involves destroying the thing in the first place and rebuilding an exact replica in the second, so that could have some bad outcomes for humans and their conscience.

To be honest, logically, I can't see any way in which we could teleport humans unless it involved the use of wormholes which I don't think will be proven, let alone harnessed in the next 200 years.

[Why the hell is 'Teleport' not a recognized word?]

Well, we can go one of two ways.
We can either get over our differences and unite as an entire race, or we will self destruct and destroy ourselves.

I see the second one being more likely but not for a while at least.

Or we die because the sun becomes a red giant and eats Earth up

I see something cataclysmic happening before the sun does that...

Either it's a Nuclear War or a super volcano etc.

It's plausible. But if you want the truth, I doubt it'll happen. A main reason is religion, (not trying to be a d*ck). But cloning has been stopped for the most part because of religious groups disagreeing with the whole process. It involves souls, etc.
Maybe one day it will be possible without hindrance.

As far as the future if this occurs. I think this would become the new "space race". Everyone will be racing to teleport the furthest. When finally done, it would probably be used for war.

I think eventually though, everyone would have to unite because of an event. For example, if Alien's are found, the Earth would be required to unite because it wouldn't be possible to deal with relations at home while worrying about our space friends.
