Your LCD may have broke. I cannot exactly tell what your problem is, but it may be your LCD. Either the SATA cable ripped or completely messed up. A new LCD screen is $32.00 on amazon.
$38.00 with tools to open your iPhone.

cable probably disconnected, take it to one of those mall repair booths, they will actually fix it not send you another one.

Thats what I was thinking too, but if it disconnected wouldn't the whole screen not show up, thats why I was thinking the cable may have ripped or something.

likely, part of the cable must still be intact for an image to show up

the cable isn't the problem, you have a broken LCD.

your options are
1. order parts and try to replace it yourself
2. take it to your carrier and get a new phone
3. have it replaced by a 3rd party
