i had saved all of my form 6 school work on my usb stick but today when i plugged it into the school computer the folders in my usb stick randomly changed into file types, so when i try and open them now i get no response and all i get is a list of programmes i would want to open it with and when i select word i get hex coding! Please help me i don't really fancy doing all of my work again.

Edit: i think i know what happened, when i put my usb stick into my teachers computer she clicked scan and fix which i have never done before so im guessing that it did something to change the folder into a file.
