well seeing as im an avid fan of capture the flag for its easy to recognise spawning locations and the more objective based gameplay i thought id write a small tips thingy for some of you

my PREFERED/Opinion on the best style of classes to use:

Spawn Camper/ Flag Defender(i do this alot )
any first gun really that you like
secondary: id say a spas-12 with foregrip or another shotgun as these come in big handy now and again
equipment : clay more
specail equip: anything really
perk1: i usually use scavanger pro and for me its alot easier to use then one man army but the advantage of one man army is if the other team gets air support you can switch and get your stnger etc out and blow that up for a fair bit of XP
perk2: stopping power, hardline OR coldblooded
stoppping power if a slower weapon such as a sniper so it will be the 1 hit kill
hardline if something such as a ump etc as some weapons are terribley over powered compared to others so dont need the stopping power aid
coldblooded for a more open map such as wasteland to keep the snipers and such at bay a bit longer from thermal whoring
perk 3 : ninja pro or steady aim
ninja incase you think there going to camp your spawn you can run away and try and take the out from a distance and be invisible to heart beats and sound whores will find it harder to spot you
steady aim if its your prefered etc

my setup for this:
m16 with FMJ(1 burst kills )
spas-12 with foregrip (insane range on this which keeps killing power is ace)
clay more (planting 2 claymores is always good, one on flag one to look after your back side)
flash grenade (just randoms for helping me grab a few assists or stopping enemies round corners)
scavanger pro (in essence infinete ammo)
stopping power pro (aids every thing when shooting )
ninja pro (justa preference of mine wit the addition of silent footsteps)

rushing class/anti air :
a sub machine gun or something like a acr , just for mobility purposes and the slightly unbalanced attributes of these , ump is pretty over powered and acr has almost no recoil what so ever so pop shotting is easy)
secondary id say a thumper or stinger (i prefer stinger takes like 5 seconds to stop and take out someones care package lucked harrier etc)
perk 1: marathon(endless running is always good when rushing flags for captures etc)
perk2: cold blooded(helps immenseley in this game type as of long games high k/ds and the mass of air support people get)
perk 3 : ninja pro(silent foot steps and heartbeat wins easy when running round like a lunatic youll catch those sound whores easy with this and none turtle beach people will never hear you comming)
equipment: anything really possibley a tact insert for placing near enemies base incase you die abit later your near there spawn and can get a few kills but when you die smash that knifing button as usually a camper is on oter side of your insert ready to knife you first)
specail equip: doesnt really matter

my setup for this type:
primary: UMP45 silencer or p90 extended mags
secondary : stinger or thumper depending on map
equipment : claymore
specail: stun grenade
perk1: marathon pro
perk2: cold blooded pro
perk3: ninja pro

now ive got those few classes out the way heres a few tricks n tips for using each one wit

defender style:
find a nice slightly hidden / away from the flag spot which has a few good view points for spotting kids running towards the flag etc and plant a claymore facing away from the flag in the more commonly used routes to run the flag t enemies base as it will mean more kills fomr claymore , always scavanger peoples bodies when it gets abit quiet to avoid un wanted deaths just before a kill streak and use your 2nd claymore near you in a spot you think someone will run up , e.g. the stairs on skidrow in the spawn camping building

rusher style: while the games loading think of the mid ranged way to run to the enemys base as this will be the best route as most go for the quickest and with unlimited sprint time itll mean your further ahead then them and can grab them from behind , try and keep a low profile being wary of corners etc and planting c4/claymores good places would be enclosed stair cases and near a edge snipers camp at alot as people will run to the camping spot and then go BOOM!

Good line up of Killstreaks to use in this game type:
1st : predator
2nd:harrier
3rd: pavelow , chopper gunner or ac130

explanatoins:
predator: 5 kill streak isnt really that much is it and this will help if you dont get your next kill streak for when the rounds switch as its able to be used straight away meaning a possible quad predator if your lucky

harrier: excellent for shoving on there spawn at the begining of a round switch id say put it abit in front of there spawn so it kills people who were able to run abit and it gives the harrier a better angle to shoot form onto the spawning enemies

pavelow: a heavily armoured helicopter roaming around map for a whole minute can do wonders plus you dont need to control it , it just does its stuff and owns

chopper gunner/ac130: favourite killstreaks of many people and its a fun one to use , use a chopper gunner for openish maps or ones with alot of weak walls and the ac130 for ones like afgan where the splash damage from the explosive shells will catch people hiding in the caves etc

ill try and write abit more whn i can and do diffrent ones of these topics for diffrent game types etc as i can hope you enjoyed it and im sorry for any spelling mistakes and that but its what i get for failing english and being a text talk muppet

thanks for reading anyways

Nice tips. I usually always use marathon + lightweight for CTF so I can cap the flags a lot faster.
