hey guys,
i am having some issues here. i just built my PC over my friends house.
So when i got home and plug my monitor in, and it said " not input signal"
and that goes as well with the HDMI cable.
motherboard:
MSI Z77A-G45 LGA 1155

Is the PC posting?
you will usually hear a single beep (if the mobo has a speaker on it that is)
if its not then check everything is plugged in correctly and you are using a CPU/RAM compatible with your motherboard

it would have been the motherboard speaker.
have you hooked up all the cables? eg the 24pin and 8pin CPU power cable?

thats most likely the issue the card should be seated fully in the PCI-E slot and the required amount PCI-E power cables should be plugged into it

Are you plugging it on the graphics card or the mobo? You have to plug it in the graphics card. The mobo outputs get disabled when a graphics card is detected.
