Hey TTG, im pretty new with PCs, so recently I added a Zotac GeoForce GT 610 2GB DDR3, into my old custom intel pc, which has 4GB of memory, 128GB Hard Drive, and a Intel penthium Dual Core 2.60gHz, and I have trouble playing DayZ at very low video quality. I even tried running the game in 800x600 resolution but still lags. Can anyone help me spot the problem I have to fix to stop the lag? Please don't make fun of me, I am here to learn few things, and if you guys need more information on my pc I will hapily provide it to you.
Hope someone out there has a good knowledge about PC and can help me.
Thanks in advance.

Your PC isn't powerful enough to run Arma II even on extremely low settings. There's not much else I can tell you other than that you'll have to invest in new hardware to play a game like this. An older-generation Pentium and GT 610 won't run modern games well.
Read the post; he mentioned what he has.

Thanks for the info, that's pretty much what I wanted to know, if I buy a better quality graphics card, would it help overclocking the processor? Or should I just buy a new one?
If so any suggestions in price ranges of 100-200$ i just looking for something that would let me enjoy the game without lag. Medium settings would be very pleasing for me. Thanks for quick replies, this french class is pretty boring =/

You'll want to upgrade the CPU in addition to the graphics card. Honestly, it would be much better to just build a new PC and sell what you can of your current PC. It's dated and upgrading any of the parts will require others to be replaced. Watch this video when you get the chance; it's relevant here.

Thanks, I also tought it's time to buy a new gaming PC, this pc worked well 7 years for BF2 xD, but its time to move on. I greatly appreciate your help, and btw I saw videos of people using the GeForce GT 610 2GB to run bf3 in high setting, so the graphic card is capable but I think my '06 PC is just overall crap.
I do not wish to build my own PC altho would the Alienware x51 699.00 basic be ok for me? Or would you know anything cheaper that will perform better or equally?
Thanks again to r00t and Mc
