Well when I was a small boy I once fell of my bike and scraped my knee.

Was a very traumatizing event at the age of 4, and I did fear for my life.

Nothing really near death but one time I was at the beach when I was like 12 and there were huge waves that day and it was my first time ever at the beach and the I went out to where the waves hit my waist. Next thing I know there was one at the level of my head *I was 5.10* and When I fell water went in my eyes and nose and I was disoriented and trying to get up. Then another wave hit me and that happened for like 4 waves and there were little sharp rocks under me so I got cut up pretty bad and needless to say I was done in the water for the day.

When I was 10 and still living in N.Ireland I had a gun held to my head.
Luckily I was young and the IRA didn't have that much power then, it was just a copy cat group of teenagers so the 'leader' said to leave me or they would have all been hunted down and gutted by the police.

That's what you get for being Protestant in Armagh though...

"Hunted and gutted" A bit over the top.
Why are you saying, "That's what you get for being Protestant in Armagh though..."
As if everyone should kneel down and feel sorry for you?
Prodestants came into my country and stole our land.

I'm not sectarian and never have been. we are both atheists from what I understand.
But look at why catholics were/are frustrated.

One night my mom, grandma and I were coming home from my aunt's house and we took the highway like usual and we were just driving and saw the occasional construction sign, but the there was this big truck/semi that hold dirt and what not, coming out on to the road from the little side areas on the highway and a split second my grandma reacted and swerved out of the way. If she would've been a second late all 3 of us would've been crushed. I have another small story, basically I was in taco bell one night with a friend and a masked guy came inside casually then pulled out a gun, my friend reacted quickly, running away, and I hurried up and followed him. Was scared to death both those times.

Haha, what?
I was 10, forced into a religion I grew up with.
I am not asking for people to kneel down and feel sorry for me in any way.
You could say that about anyone commenting in this thread.

My remark about being a Protestant in Armagh was contextual and only applied at the time I was a protestant in Armagh which I am not any more.
"Hunted and Gutted" is an analogy used to describe how child killers are apprehended and what happens to their lives afterwards.
Not to be used as a literal description.
I didn't invoke anything to do with why this happened to me apart from the fact that I was a protestant at the time, there is violence on both sides, I didn't say anything to do with one side being right or wrong.

Why the hostility?

Either when I got stabbed and passed out from blood loss or when I was in a car accident and a stop sign went through my leg.

I was in my backyard and i was shooting stuff with my pellet gun (crows, beer cans, waterbuckets, etc...) well i was using a flat tip pellet with 10 pumps of the gun and i shot about an inch or so thick wood board. When i shot the pellet it can right back at me less than a foot away from my head. The pellet was zooming when it went past my head. The board was about 25 feet away. To this day i use safety glasses when i shoot my gun.
