The Government supposedly wants us to have a good education, but It seems like they also want to send us bankrupt during the process.
Like for example:
The college program that I am currently attending is a 5 semester program priced at $16,000 per semester. This is just insane, anybody else have any thoughts on this issue?
This means that once I finish the course that I am taking, I will be approx: $80,000 in the hole.
Over the last 30 years, the average sticker price at public and private American universities has accelerated upward. Since 1981 the list price level of tuition and fees has risen sixfold while the consumer price index has only increased two-and-a-half times. This fact is well-known, and it fuels much of the talk about a crisis in higher education.

It's a way for them to get more money. You pay the money go to college then 2 things either happen.
1. You drop out or quit and lose your money. 2. You finish and get a better job and make more money but guess what you get taxed more, so either way they're just getting more of your money whether you finish or quit college/university.

Not really, do you know how hard it is to get a job at the moment?
People are coming out of university and going into jobs at minimum wage that they could have gotten before university, waste of money at the moment :/

In all honesty going to college is worthless at the moment, because of how hard it is to find a job. I've heard so many stories of people hearing the dream job of the future, go to college for it, and never get hired.. Going to the military or army is the right thing to do since you get about everything for free when you get out and get a pay check for the rest of your life regardless of if you're working or not.

Getting a good college education helps you towards a good-paying job.
In the end you'll have made a lot more than $80,000

Not at the moment.
Jobs aren't what they used to be plus you got to add up the taxes he will get that could put him more in the hole.

I've always thought that college expenses are ridiculous, but where will you go without college? It's almost a requirement nowadays.
