Can you use the J R programmer instead of the NAND x?

I believe you can, depends and what you are trying to do. Add a Keyvault or update to the newest dashlaunch.

He is referring to the NAND programming chip, not the software.
I have not used it but yes, it will do the same thing as a nand-x and from what I've heard it is better/faster and easier to use.

Yes you can, it is just a little slower than the nand-x. But honestly it is a $5 difference so just go with the nand x

yes you can use it works just like a nand-x but reads the nand of a console slower

If you are going to read/write nand from a couple xboxs (1-10) get a jr programmer, it does the job, and it does it well. If you are going to do a rgh/jtag service and going to use a programmer daily, get a nand-x, it's faster than a jr programmer.
