Edit: This is concerning the next gen xbox, the Xbox 360 will be infinitely cheaper than a PC. That is simply because the hardware is about 8 years old.

Before I begin, I realize that it is better to build your own computer, that's even what I did myself, but for most people that is not a viable option.

Leaked specs of next Xbox:
Processor Speed: 1.6 GHz
Hard Drive Capacity: 500 GB
Memory: 8GB

Video Memory hasn't been leaked, but if I could guess, it'd be 512MB-1024MB(1GB).
Base price: $400-$600
Yearly live sub:$60x(number of years you plan on playing online)
Mandatory Kinect for functionality: $50-$100 (Will probably be included w/ console bumping price up)
Approximate Total(Assuming 8 years like the Xbox 360): $930-$1180
Very little sales.
(Don't try the used games argument, consoles is switching to digital, id est, no more used games.)

I hate PC. I used to be a PC player but then I realized everyone was on Xbox. Plus, those are rumored specs. You don't know if that is true specs. I heard it will be like a 8 core processor..

Those are the specs that were leaked from a dev kit. Also, the amount of cores doesn't matter if it only has two or four threads, which most 8 core processors only have 4.

Upgrading the RAM would be pointless.
They won't ship more HD space out of the box, they can charge you more for a bigger hard drive, which will be like 200% of what a hard drive the same size would cost for a PC.
Video Memory will max at 1GB, 2GB simply can't happen in that price range.

Also, I should note that a PC is an essential part of technology, you're combining your gaming platform, and your Person Computer into one system.

Im getting a Pc very soon and a PS4 its almost like a pc
