-Fluttershy- wrote You pay 80,000$ now, but you with the education could make that back as a simple starting salary depending on your profession. (Me and my brother are accountants the starting salary is around 75,000$ fresh out of college) so there is a big chance to make it back. Also, you don't have to pay it back right away.
Since the economy is bad, you may not get a job in your profession. Therefore, you may not be able to pay back the money even in payments.
Example: If you couldn't find a job as an accountant, but you were hired at a business as a manager. You're salary is 30k a year. You're whole college experience was pretty much a waste.

You wouldn't get that manager job coming out of high school, I'll bet you that much.

I see nothing wrong with this... The better education you want, the more its going to cost. And if you dont think you need that kind of education, dont go to that college. My brother goes to a private university and that costs about 40+ grand a year. But thats because its top notch education. The more you pay, the better you get. And when it comes to employer looking at your resume and he sees Harvard, Stanford or any of the really good schools in america and a random decent college, who is he going to chose?
