I have recently tried trading and I know how to do it but it just seems like I always pick the wrong players or just get unlucky. For example I once tried trading Gerrard and I bought about three or four that were around 700 coins cheaper than all others. I then re-listed them for cheaper than all the other Gerrards. However none of them sold, even after re-listing them several times. In the end I sold them all for around 800 coins less than what I bought them for. This has happened to me multiple times with players like Gervinho and Wallcott as well. So how do I know which players I should trade with for max profit?

P.S. I don't have too many coins. Usually I have around 50k.

You usually pick players that are gonna turn Inform or just players you know everyone wants. Everyone wants van Persie, Nani etc. So get those players.

Some of the best players too trade is yaya toure, nasri, Reus, Ramires.
Just make sure that when you buy players they are either in a 3-5-2 or a 4 defender formation otherwise they more than likely wont sell on for more. Also list them between 5-10PM GMT for maximum possibilities of sales. Also stick to popular leagues as well such as Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga, BPL etc

There really is no way of telling. The closest way is to look at real life games and if you think someone deserves and inform and you think they will be on the next one. Might as well buy the player. *sorry kinda hard to explain*

Example: Kagawa *Manchester United* scored a Hatrick the other day. He will probably become informed. Meaning his regular player price will most likely go up.
