With combined operations being $12 on steam, and me never playing dayz, would it be worth it to buy? I have heard a lot of great things about it.

Also, the only reason I would get combined operations is to play dayz.

Yeah you will end up spending a lot more time on arma 2 in the end anyway, DayZ is only one mod of hundreds if not thousands of arma 2 mods.

Seeing as the mod is almost like a game on its own, yes. And like previously stated, there are tons of mods that I will be venturing out into.

yeah dayz is awesome...But if your just getting the game for Dayz, wait till the stand alone game comes out...

yes I would get the game, and the mod because its a test for you, and then you can buy the full game when it comes out

I heard about the standalone game, which if I like the mod, I will probably get. Im just wanting to see if it is even the kind of game that I would like, and don't quote me on this, but I would think that the standalone would cost $20.

CO is only $12 right now so why not? Plus, as was posted earlier, arma II is a great game with tons of mods so I might as well get it now while its half off.
