Seeing that the ArmA III alpha was just released, I am wondering whether or not I can run it effectively without stuttering.
The minimum graphics card is listed as a GeForce 8800GT
I have an HD 4850
I know the HD 4850 is better than the 8800GT but is it enough to be able to play the game enjoyably
I realize experience mainly depends on the CPU with this game but I'm more concerned about my GPU at the moment
Any help is appreciated, Thanks

Doubt it will provide the best experience, it's recommended a 7750.

That sounds like a good plan, if you do upgrade, you won't need to spend $500 on a GPU, you can grab a radeon 7770 for about $120.

FreeToPlayOnPC wroteWell I don't have $500 so no need to worry about that, Either a 650 or 7770 would probably do the job for mexXopticsXx wroteFreeToPlayOnPC wrote Doubt it will provide the best experience, it's recommended a 7750.Thanks for the input, I might just buy it because its discounted and maybe upgrade in the future
