Yes, but you could pay less for a similar 670.

You could also get a higher-end card, the 7970, for less.

ive got a 750w corsair power supply.

I bought the 670 FTW of scan.co.uk last week but it didnt work, i just sent it back yesterday to get a new one (warranty is still valid) but ive just got an email stating that it infact still worked. just wondering if it was in fact compatible.

You installed it wrong, then. Did the fan spin up when you plugged it in? Does another graphics card work in the same system?
