I don't see a point in stressing this, she's already your girlfriend, so it's not like she won't go with you or something.

I would say make her mad but not that mad that she will not say yes, just make her mad but it will make her smile then when she's about to yell at you kiss her in the lips and ask her to prom. Or another way is when you guys are talking alone and both of you start laughing and when you stop laughing ask her. That's what I did and she said yes

None trying to be rude but nobody nows how to ask ur GF out to the prom u should.....
