Hello TTG,
I would just like to say before I get started that this is not going to be "OH! I've seen all this information now I don't have to do anything, but these steps and I will be recruited." NO, it is going to require tons of work.
Also much of this information is provided via NCSASports.orc
NCSA The Premium Recruting Site
Now there are many sites that can help you, but this is defiantly your best option. Reasons why?
Own Personal Recruiting Coach
More Publicity for Yourself or Child
Rescource Library with loads of information
Video Editors for your service
SAT and ACT study courses
+Many more amazing features
Here is the introductory video:
As you can see this is a very passionate website. Which will help you a lot in getting noticed. Only thing is, that it is quite exspensive.
Communications
Rules
Before we get into anything we have to discuss the communication rules college coaches have.
Coaches are not allowed to contact you on the subject of recruiting until September 1st of your Junior Year. Also you are not allowed to make any official visits or receive calls from and D1 or D2 schools during this period.
They can however send admission information and brochures of the school.
D3 and NAIA can contact whenever.
However this is where you can slip by. The coaches can not talk about the subject of recruiting unless you call them. You can still build a relationship with a coach though. It is just going to have to be on the subject of something else other than recruiting.
Emails
You must be active on this subject. This is how the rubric of contacting coaches breaks down.
When emailing a coach you must be very profesional and check all grammer.
For every 100 coaches you research - You might find 50 that fit you
For every 50 coaches you see fit, and reach out to - 20 May respond to you
For every 20 coaches that respond to you - 10 may be very interested, and invite you to visit
For every 10 Visits - You may receive 5 Official Visit invites
For every 5 Official visit invites - You may receive 2-3 offers
So you must be very active with this. I suggest doing either doing questioners that many colleges have on their website, and also contact the head coach or assistant coach.
Some will get back to, some will not. Don't be discouraged just talk to the ones that did get back, and build that very important relationship.
Phone Calls
This is where you can beat any recruiting restrictions, because if you call them it is at your exspense so you are allowed to talk about whatever.
When talking to a coach you must be enthusiastic, ready to answer questions, and ready to ask questions.
Some of the questions you could ask are...
What are your scholarship and walk-on standards?
How did your program do this year?
Do teams board together?
What kind of academic help can I get?
The main thing is being enthusiastic and being yourself is what it all comes down to.
Visits
There are two types of visits, official and unofficial.
Official Visit- (allowed 5 senior year)If an institution pays for any part of a visit, it is considered an official visit. Typically the school will pay for travel, housing, meals and some entertainment costs.
Unofficial Visits- (allowed unlimited) You must pay for all costs.
Film
Racing Sports
Film about two races, but no more than four. Also create a highlight video of multiple races.
Game Sports
Film a game then edit it together so it plays through smoothly with no breaks. Also create a highligh video of your best moments.
There you go. That is all the info I can give to help you be recruited. It is going to require hare work and will not come easy. So work hard and you can achieve anything.

I have never used NCSA and managed to be an all-state basketball player and have recieved multiple D2/D3 Offers... No D1 tho
NCSA is mainly for D3 athletes.. It could be very useful but if you are working hard. They will find you.
