Pretty much all you can do is upgrade the RAM and HDD but it wont help much the CPU in that laptop is junk
if you want a computer with high performance just save up and build a desktop

i am by this time next year i want to have a desktop hooked up to my TV so i can chill on my bed and be browsing the net or gaming im thinking about having about a 700-1000 build

get a 1 tb or higher hdd that helps

It will only help if hes upgrading from a 5400 RPM hdd to a 7200 RPM and the difference isn't that much
an SSD would improve loading times of the OS and applications but the CPU will hold it back
So yeah don't give out useless information when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
