Homework is there to help you, I don't say it makes a huge differense, but homework is actually good for you.

Homework is basically Revising.. But you have to do it or you get a detention or whatever.

yeh i know what you mean but my teachers at school just say heres my maths do that and its just lazy really, just saying to a kid doing his GCSEs that its go online what a computer set you and finish it. not much work done from the teacher there

Homework is a bag of crap in my opinion, it's meant to help but doesn't most of the time and then stops us doing stuff we want to do. It's bad enough going to school for 6 or 7 hours but then to have to do more at home is stupid.

Homework is there for your benefit, you might not think it helps but it does.
When I was in year 11 in high school, people started asking for homework because they realized how much it helped them to revise for exams.

However, in younger years I don't see why it's that important that they give it out in such large quantities.

Everyone hates homework, but it's for the best. Without the practice we get with homework we would forget things, and teachers would have much lower expectations meaning our education system would not be nearly as good as it is today.

The point of homework is to show that you know what you are doing. If you miss a lot of questions on the homework, then the teacher knows to go over the type of problems missed.

Yeh i Agree with everyones views and i understand what you mean by for year 9 High school students its not needed but year 10 and 11 its needed i just wanna realix but insted i have to go do a lot of homework
