I agree that homework is good for you, trust me it does help you.

The only problem I have is how teachers administrate it, they give to much large quantities of homework and only the smartest can get though it while the people who struggle in "said" class struggle with it. Homework needs to be given in small quantities throughout the week, not a packet of homework everyday that needs to be turned in the next day.

My school says home work causes to much stress so we have none. Nobody in any of my classes are failing.

Homework should be given out, but in less quantity. Instead of doing 20 problems for math make it 10. Practice makes perfect so I think that they should not completely get rid of it, but instead give less out.

I dont think its a good idea because going to school is the law so we obey the law and go to school. So if theres anything to do then they should fit it in to that time.

It depends what kind of homework. For example, my biology class is learning about viral and bacterial diseases and how they work. We have a test tomorrow but the teacher decided to give us a project a few days ago and each person in the class got a different kind of bacteria to research. Even though these specific bacteria won't be on the test, she still wants us to spend hours on this project when we could be studying.

Basically, I don't mind homework if it helps you review for the tests or what you learned in class that day. I just hate pointless busy work.

Sadly as it is, homework is something needed. It is there to help you. So yes it is needed.

2BromiesTV wrote I actually like homework it allows me to work individually and solve problems on my own, which in the real world this is something you have to deal with daily.

Actually, in the real world, more collaboration is being done instead of individuals doing their own separate things. There are more open spaces in today's work world, and less cubicles.
