I have to agree. I have gotten so bored of video games in the past years and alot more this year. When I do decide to play it's an old game, classics, or new games that look interesting like the new Tomb Raider. After MW2 cod had gone downhill and MW2 wasn't really that good( O.M.A and noob tubes) but people liked it alot because of how much of a difference it was from cod4 and WAW

I think I know what the problem is. It's because the games that you are playing are the exact same year after year! FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K, etc, don't change that much year to year, and the same thing goes for COD. Pull your head out of your ass and start playing good series that actually CHANGE once in a while, maybe then you won't think "gaming is dying". I hate it when people think that COD is the only damn game in the universe, and I hate it when people think that they're gamers, and the only games they play are COD and/or sports games. End of rant.

Most of the new games like COD, Halo, ect... are just rehashes of there previous games. This is why Minecraft is such a success because it was an original idea.

I feel you man I remember when MW2 first came out, I played that almost all day for about 2 years.
Now I barely play xbox when I can, I miss the MW2 days

This is exactly the reason why I don't play call of duty any more. Its too boring, and I prefer games like assassins creed now.

Personally I feel that games are boring if played alone, party up with your mates on CoD, Halo or mess around on GTA for example and you've got yourself a recipe for fun.

I can play Modern Warfare 3 at a time. I actually enjoy playing it.

CoD is too repetitive. They need to mix it up every now and then. Maybe a CoD in older times.
