Well, At my school they look on tape & if they can get a good look at who you are if your standing around watching the fight & not being where your suppose to be you get suspended. I know that's dumb.

Yeah thats seen as instigating a fight. A fight happened in my school, someone recorded it, put it on youtube, youtube took the video down, and tracked the IP to the kids house, and cops came, got charged with instigating a fight, AND on top of that got a week of OSS (Out of school suspension).

At my school if you were caught, I am sure you would be suspended for instigating or something like that. If you don't get help or try to stop it, then it's only safe to assume you may get in trouble. Fighting is something schools really try to avoid and stop.

If someone snitches on you about the video you could get in trouble depending on how strict the school is

i deleted it the day i recorded it but my friends dumb ass uploaded it to facebook and the dean(principle) saw it

Depends, If you use it as proof. But since you uploaded it to youtube and the Dean saw it, he will more then likely have it investigated, as in calling kids into the office, asking questions, and maybe getting the law enforcement involved.

People record fights all the time at my school.
The only thing that can happen is them taking your phone and erasing the video(s) and maybe a 2 day suspension for being there.
