You Missing the point. That Flag Could have Been Placed there At Anytime after 1969. We Are Referring to the "First Moon Landing" in 1969, And Questioning its Validity. Not The 2009 One. If You Want, Have A Discussion about that Landing in another section of the Forum. Not in the Conspiracy Section. During the 1960s, We Were in an Arms Race With The Soviet Union, They Launched Sputnik, so the Americans Had to beat Them At Any Way Possible. What Better Way To Defeat The Launch of the First Satellite, Than To Place Man on The Moon for the first time. In order to beat them, They had two Choices, They Could Actually Send Man To The Moon, Or Make the Soviets Believe We Did. Realistically it Was Much Cheaper to Make them Think We Did, Versus Spending A ton of Money To Send Some people There With A High Risk of Failure. Had We Attempted and failed, we would of 1) Wasted Millions of Dollars, 2) Allowed the Russians To Gain the Upper Hand
