Its not just Gears that have made their MP turn out like CoD, Halo 4 is the same...

I will never play Halo 4 again..

As a long time Gears veteran, I'm also a bit taken back by these new changes. They took out the staples that made us fall in love with the most brutal, high learning curve multiplayer on console. It feels like they want the game to be faster and easier to pick up, but Gears has never been about that. We've always preferred a smaller, more intense community that are diehard fans. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY rages harder than a Gears veteran getting Sawed-Offed or Retro Charged.

I respect that Epic wants to change things up and make the franchise more accessible for casual gamers, but unfortunately they lost sight of the dedicated franchise that made Gears multiplayer the in-your-face Gnasher fest that it is today. They should have learned from Gears 3 that it just isn't a game that attracts casual gamers, and us Gears players are perfectly fine with that.

I'm getting Judgment out of respect for the series. If Gears of War is gonna die out and fail, I atleast want to be there when my favorite multiplayer franchise dies you know?

Still a Gears game, and I'll still play my heart out on it. It will still never be as bad as the newer Halo games or any of the CoD.

Also, I thought no going down was only for free-for-all? That might just be an assumption seeing as the only mp footage I could find was FFA.

He did nothing for the game. If anything, he ruined it. Yes, Gears Of War Judgment at the moment isn't that good, but the game isn't even released yet. Give it time.
