I Have the money to buy a EVGA FTW 4gb GTX 680
But is it worth it for the price over a normal
2gb 680

No, and it's not worth the money over a 7970 GHz edition either. 7970 GHz edition will absolutely destroy the 680 - unless you have a week cpu and plan to do a lot of rendering with Adobe software.

The direct CUII 7970 is brilliant for overclocking. If you can find one, the msi twin frozr is also very nice.
