Okay guys I recently sent my laptop back to get fixed and what not, but they didnt fix the HDMI port.
It shows the picture from the laptop onto the TV, but no sound comes through it used to but not anymore.
I was thinking maybe a drive is missing or something?
I have an acer aspire laptop and it has windows 7 on it.
Any idea on what I can do guys?

What is the exact model of you pc? Also, have you tried a re-installation of drivers?

Can't find the exact model of the PC, and didn't get any discs with my laptop when I got it, so can't do a re-installation.
Ill keep looking for the model

EDIT: ACPI x64?

You might just need to set the default audio output device to the display speakers. Right-click the audio icon in the taskbar notification area, select "Playback devices," and set the display audio as the default device.
