There are billions of other galaxies throughout the universe. We just can't get to them, yet.

There's a very common misconception about the difference between Fact and Theory, especially in the Scientific world.

Considering, nothing can really be concrete fact, set in stone as "this is what is" a theory is something which acts as a fact but allows itself to be humble in the sense that it could be completely wrong from a different perspective.
However, from our perception of the Universe, the Big Bang is theory, which is something that has been tested innumerable times and a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that can incorporate facts, laws, inferences, and tested hypotheses.
A 'Fact' in the scientific world is something that is constantly proven to have the same effect over and over but could be proven wrong tomorrow.
The Big Bang has only occurred once, that we can somewhat see evidence of and monitor the effects of, this is why it cannot be promoted to 'Fact' status.

Basically, fact = theory [in this case] but theory cannot be fact.

First off there is only one God. He is self-exsistent that means no one made him or created him and he has always been here before time began, he is in the present, and also in the future. The galaxies are just parts of his creation. The whole universe fits in the palm of his hand that includes the stars, planets, galaxies. If you read the book of genesis the first verse says: "In the beginning God created the Earth and heavens...." So really beginning = time , earth = matter, heavens = space.
