Just an add on, I would only see humanity as friendly bacteria to Earth if you were to invoke a threat from another conscious race.
We would then be protectors but we would still be the lesser of two evils to the Earth.

You also infer that there would be some sort of deity overlooking this process.
As though we were engineered specifically for your distortion of reality.

That would mean that Earth is the most important object in this deity's mind, not humans.

My opinion is kind of stupid, but i have always thought what if aliens made us? They made us and they wanted to experiment on us. They took us a lone planet where the only thing there was land and water. They left us there and every now and then they come and check on us?

I believe evoloution from bacteria eventually resulted in complex organisms and humans formed.

But I do know that without humans earth would be much more cleaner lol
