i went to the rugby club where i live in wales,i know most of the people who was there since iv played for 12year's but anyway i was down the club watching wales vs england for the six nation match but anyway..

i was sober when this happened, but all night i got along with everyone, and my two mates come in at mid night and i ask if the boy they was with was mark since i haven't seen him in year's so we all sat down, and i looked at him he gave me a stupid look and threw a glass bottle at my face and punched me for no apparent reason :S!,so i took it on the chin and left it then two minute's later i said you better get him out of here before something happen's so he get's up and square's up to me so i got up and i hit him once and sat him on his ass along with his dad,yet im the one in the wrong and got chucked out for apparently head butting him and breaking his nose :S!,yet i have witnesses, but this guy has a problem it's nothing major but his dad said he's going to take me to the police yet he hit me twice first for no reason with witnesses, and being in the army i would never have the disrespect to stick the head on somebody for no reason at all!, yet now his dad and three family member's are threatening me yet his brother has been to prison 3 times and apparently is ment to be one of the hardest in my area haha,im 18 and these lot are literally 24,and around 40 year's old so should i go to the police about them?

I would man. In the UK you get treated better than in the US when it comes to this. Maybe have the witnesses sign something for you.

I don't know how the UK laws are but in the US my brother was hanging out with his friends and this 20 or 30 year old comes up to my brother and smashes a bottle on his head and threatens to beat the **** outta him, then my brother turned around at punched him square in the face knocking him out. Well my brother went to jail for 9 months for aggravated assault even though he didn't use anything like the other guy. His friends testified what happened and he still went to jail.

If your friends can testify you should be on the safe side. Also if his dad is making violent threats to you, you can press charges on him. If you can get more witnesses or even if the club owner if he saw what happened then the odds are more and likely in your favor.

I'm from the UK and I suggest going to the police. You don't want to be watching your back every time you go out, or hang out with your friends. I imagine the police will put you under there crime protection program or whatever it's called.

You Welshmen are intimidating as f*ck! I'm from England, and when I visited Wales, it was fair to say, me and a few friends didn't get the warmest of welcome's.

That right there is where he can get in trouble. Believe it or not that classifies as a terrorist threat, because he is basically saying he will try to do harm to you when your seen with him.

As for the people holding you back that was smart. Even though he made the threat but he didn't do anything, from my knowledge you would have probably got in trouble or made the situation worse. If he does press charges or anything have your witnesses say what happened and explain it.

Well, it wasn't rugby banter, it was football banter! Last year, I went to an Swansea vs. Arsenal game. I think it was only a bit of fun, but still very intimidating!

Yeah, anyway, if you're worried about these guys, just go to the police. If you can think you can handle them, then don't bother.
