I am using AVS Video Editor, and when I hit produce and select a choice, it says "Couldn't get the current profile" can anyone tell me?

If it's still listed as a project file, open the file with the program that created it, and look for a way to save the movie, instead of the project. Windows Movie Maker does the same thing, you can either save the project itself, or you can save the resulting movie.
