The quality and design of Apples products is unbeatable.

However they lack UI customizability, which is what I think makes Android phones better than iPhones.

Apple is so simplistically good. I have an iPhone 4 and I'm getting the iPhone 5 in a few weeks. Apple has better apps. iTunes is untouchable. Google Play isn't anywhere near the level of iTunes.

I haven't had any experience with Android so I can't comment about that. But I have had most of the iPhone models and I still think they are brilliant phones. They are simplistic which I like about a phone, the UI is very easy to navigate and easy to use. The e-mail side of the phone is brilliant, which is what I use it for the most. And the app store is very good, if you need an app for something chances are you can easily find it. The only downside is the price, but high end android phones don't cost that much less.
