From talking with the people at my school on the "other side", it seems that usually they just don't like the jocks. From a personal standpoint, my jock friends are nice to me and others, but when I'm hanging around with my friends who enjoy history or math or something they will become hostile. It works the other way around, as the nerds will also ignore me if I have been hanging around with the opposite group.

I don't really understand it much either, but to me it just seems like stereotypical high school crap, where the jocks and nerds hate each other for the other's strengths and weaknesses. I just tell them that they should stop being jerks and just accept that I have other interests then theirs, and they should accept me as I accept them. If they can't accept that you like being fit and playing sports, then they aren't true friends, and you just share common interests.

The only sport I play is football every once in a while and I like to lift weights at home to stay fit, but that's about all. I'm also not a gamer even though I'm a very active member on a gaming website I have no idea what people view me as xD

I'de rather be fit than someone who has health problem from being overweight. If someone hate on you thats just......reta....stupid.

I don't find it as a problem. There is just the fit dudes who think they are all that and be like " Oh man your a wimp" and then try taking chicks from other dudes, when really inside they are self centered. NOT ALL, just most that I have seen, prove em wrong.

You can be fit and have geeky friends but find people just like you you are labeled douche bags because of what people in society see through the media anyone who lifts is a quido and labeled a dick and some guys who lift tend to be conceited and when you meet some one conceited you label everyone like them the same.
