the monitor crashes as if the gpu just turns off and i have to restart the computer for it to work again

im not sure all i know is i can be gaming for a random amount off time with the gpu usage and temps fine then all of a sudden it just goes off.

Me and my friends have had this problem. We both use to play ad they would crash after like 5 minutes. New computers and everything. The way we solved it was updating our drivers for our cards. try that, it can't hurt as long as you get it from the legit site(And it is 100% free.)

is there anyway to tell if my drivers are up-to date or not?

I had the same problem and I had to change some settings in the advanced settings for my pc and it stopped so just adjust your power settings maybe.

Ok so i just had a decent gaming session about 3 hours after updating my drivers and i didn't have to restart once. so is there anyway to get my gpu to prompt me when there is a new driver available or do i just have to check every so often.

It might be the psu. I had the same problem
