I bought a game off of the marketplace and it freezes on single player and says clean disc but its downloaded to the hardrive so theirs no disk the multiplayer still works though I have downloaded it again cleared the cache and restarted the xbox

I had this same issue. Unfortunately it was my hdd that was the problem. My advice to you would be to move the game onto a USB or external HDD etc.
